What I do
My history in the CG business: For the past 16 years I’ve worked as a 3D artist specializing in Environments and props for the movie, TV commercial and game industry. Based out of Los Angeles and for a while in San Francisco I’ve worked on such movies as,Guardians of the Galaxy, Terminator Salvation, 2012, Sorcerers Apprentice, Barnyard, G-Force, Duplicity, Tekken and a few others.
Second Life :
As Loz Hyde, I’ve been in SL since 2006. In 2012, when mesh first came to SL I was so excited, finally no more building with legos! It was in that first year that I created the brand MESHWORX and brought my 3D knowledge skills to the virtual world.
How I do it
I use Maya to model, and bake lighting, using Arnold.
Photoshop, Substance Painter and Crazy Bump for texturing.
I also use many of my own photographs when creating textures.
